Reviews
Reviews only mean something if they’re real. Here’s exactly how we collect ours, so you can judge for yourself.
How we ask for reviews
- We ask every customer the same way, after every job — not only the ones we think will say something nice.
- We use the same wording every time.
- We never offer a discount, a free service or anything else in exchange for a review.
- We never write reviews ourselves, and we don’t ask friends or family to.
- We don’t hide bad ones. If we get a poor review it stays up and we answer it.
- We don’t stand over anyone while they write one.
Why we’re telling you this
Fake reviews on trade websites are common, and since April 2025 they’re also against the law under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act. The Competition and Markets Authority can act against businesses that post invented reviews, conceal that a review was rewarded, or publish only the good ones.
Rather than ask you to take our word for it, read our reviews on Google, where we can’t edit or delete them.
