Check our Gas Safe registration before you open the door

Gas Safe Register no. 973956

Please check it. Don’t take our word for it, and don’t trust a logo on a website — anyone can copy one. You can verify us in three ways:

Your engineer will also show you their Gas Safe ID card at the door, and we’re happy to wait while you check the photo and the back of the card. Ask us to. Every legitimate engineer expects it.

What we do

Boiler repair

No heating, no hot water, a boiler that keeps cutting out, pressure dropping, a leak or an error code on the display. Most common faults we can fix on the first visit.

About boiler repairs

Annual boiler service

A proper service, not a quick look: full safety checks, flue gas analysis, clean and a written report. Keeps your manufacturer warranty valid.

About servicing

Landlord gas safety certificate (CP12)

The annual certificate every landlord needs by law, usually issued the same day and emailed straight to you or your agent.

About gas safety certificates

New boiler installation

Replacement combi, system and regular boilers, with a free written quote and no pressure selling. Registered with Gas Safe and Building Control on completion.

About new boilers

Power flushing

For radiators cold at the bottom, a noisy boiler, or black sludgy water. Clears the system and protects the new boiler if you’re replacing one.

About power flushing

Unvented hot water cylinders

Megaflo and similar pressurised cylinders — installation, annual servicing and repair. This legally needs a G3 qualification on top of Gas Safe, and we hold it.

About unvented cylinders

Radiators and central heating

Radiator swaps, moves and removals, thermostatic valves, pump and controls replacement, and heating that won’t come on.

Why people call us back

Where we work

We’re based in Acton, W3, and we work east and south from there — Chiswick, Hammersmith, Notting Hill, Kensington, Chelsea and Fulham are all a short drive.

Everything we cover is close together, so you get a quick response rather than an engineer stuck in traffic. Ealing is as far west as we go. We also reach Barnes, Mortlake, Putney and Richmond across the river. See the full list with postcodes, or ring us and we’ll tell you straight away.

Common questions

What do you charge to come out?

See the prices page for the current call-out and diagnostic fee, and fixed prices for servicing and gas safety certificates. The fee is told to you on the phone before we come, never added on arrival.

How quickly can you come?

If you have no heating or no hot water we’ll always try to get to you the same day, and we’ll be honest on the phone if we can’t. Acton, Chiswick, Ealing, Hammersmith and Shepherd’s Bush are closest to us, so those are usually quickest.

How often should a boiler be serviced?

Once a year. Manufacturers require it to keep the warranty valid, and it catches small faults before they become expensive ones. The best time is late summer or early autumn, before you turn the heating on — a large share of breakdowns happen in the first cold week.

I’m a landlord. What do I legally need?

By law you need a gas safety check on every gas appliance and flue in the property every 12 months, carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. You must give the tenant a copy of the record within 28 days, and give new tenants a copy before they move in. More on landlord certificates.

Can you work on my hot water cylinder?

Yes. Larger houses around Chiswick, Bedford Park, Holland Park and Kensington often have unvented (pressurised) cylinders such as a Megaflo. These legally require a separate G3 qualification on top of Gas Safe registration, and we hold it — so we can install, commission and service them. It’s worth asking anyone you call, because plenty of domestic engineers can’t legally touch one, and that includes the annual service.

Can I talk to you before booking?

Yes, and please do. Ring us and describe what’s happening. Plenty of problems turn out to be a setting, a thermostat battery or a tripped switch, and we’ll tell you that over the phone for free rather than charge you to come out.

The quickest way is to ring. If we don’t pick up we’re under a boiler — leave a message and we’ll call you back within two hours.
