Prices
You are told the price before we start. Nothing is added on the doorstep and nothing appears on the invoice you didn’t agree to.
The call-out charge
| Call-out and diagnosis | £50 |
|---|---|
| If you go ahead with the work | £50 deducted from your invoice |
| If you decide not to proceed | £50 is all you pay |
In plain terms: the £50 covers us coming out and finding out what’s wrong. If you then have the work done, it comes off the bill, so the visit effectively costs you nothing. If you’d rather not go ahead once you’ve heard the price, you pay the £50 and nothing else. You’re told this figure on the phone before we set off, never when we’re standing on your step.

Travel and parking
Most of West London carries no extra charge. Where a job needs paid parking or a visitor permit, we’ll tell you the figure before we come and it goes on the quote. You’re charged for the work, the travel and the parking — never for your postcode.
What’s never charged
- Advice on the phone. If your problem turns out to be a flat thermostat battery or a setting, we’ll tell you for nothing rather than charge you to find out.
- A written quote for a new boiler.
- Coming back if something we’ve fitted isn’t right.
Common questions
Why is there a call-out fee at all?
Because diagnosing a fault properly takes time, parts knowledge and test equipment. Firms advertising “no call-out fee” usually recover it inside the repair price instead. We would rather show you the figure than hide it.
Is VAT added to your prices?
No. No VAT is added to any price on this page, so the number you see is the number you pay.
Can you give me a price over the phone?
For a service, a CP12 or a power flush, yes. For a repair we can usually give you a likely range once you describe the fault, but the firm price comes after we have seen it — and you approve it before any work starts.
Do you take card?
Yes. Card, bank transfer or cash, and you get a proper invoice either way.
